Cup joy for Swindon Town Ladies

Swindon Town Ladies cruised into the next round of the FA Women’s Premier League Cup after a fantastic 5-0 win against Larkhall Athletic on Sunday.

After a goalless opening 20 minutes, Beth Westlake gave the home side the lead when she popped up to score at the back post on 23 minutes.

Abby Picton then doubled Swindon Town Ladies’ lead when she latched onto Chyna Collings’ through ball to score three minutes later.

Ellie Maynard then had a good shot tipped over the bar on the half hour mark before Picton made it 3-0 on 40 minutes.

Megan Attenborough made it 4-0 on 63 minutes before grabbing her second and Town’s fifth.
