With just eight players turning up for Swindon Sunday League side Cricklade Park Rangers at the weekend, two of their players had some stern words for their teammates who failed to show.
Your Sport Swindon’s Craig Punfield spoke to Liam Short and Harrison Archer after their depleted Cricklade side suffered a 15-0 defeat against Save On Tyres Athletic.
The Cricklade duo praised the eight players who actually turned up for the match for giving their all but accused their teammates who didn’t turn up of getting in the Christmas spirit far too early.
