Swindon superbike star Max Cook heads to Snetterton this weekend in confident mood and has his eyes set on a podium finish.
A season’s best finish at Brands Hatch back in May saw Cook grab a fifth place finish – reaching his target for the year just three rounds into the HEL Performance Motostar Championship.
Round four saw Cook travel to Scotland’s Knockhill circuit, another new track for the 13-year-old rookie. And despite being disappointed with his efforts at Knockhill – a ninth and 10th place finish – Cook is now in buoyant mood ahead of his trip to Snetterton this weekend.
Cook told Your Sport Swindon that he expects a recent testing session at Snetterton to give him an advantage going into round five and he is confident of producing another decent performance on his Repli-Cast UK Honda powered bike.

Cook currently sits in ninth place in the HEL Performance Motostar Championship but a decent result this weekend could see him move a few places up the standings.
