Here’s our video from Monday night’s launch of ‘The World Awaits’ show which takes place on Friday, February 13th at Swindon’s Oasis Leisure Centre.

2010 Commonwealth Games gold medallist Eamonn O’Kane headlines the bill against Cardiff’s Frankie Borg, an opponent he met and lost to as an international amateur.

O’Kane though is now rated eighth in the IBF world rankings and is now trained by Swindon trainer Paddy Fitzpatrick.

The undercard is packed full of Swindon boxers with Luke Watkins, Kelvin Young, Ryan Martin, Garvey Kelly and Danny Bharj all in action. Completing the card is newly crowned British Masters Bronze light heavyweight champion Tariq Quaddus, who hails from Peterborough but trains at Swindon’s Horseshoe gym.

Full bill for The World Awaits show: Eamonn O’Kane v Frankie Borg, Kelvin Young v James Child, Luke Watkins v Jeno Markhot, Tariq Quaddus v Mark Till, Garvey Kelly v Faheem Khan, Ryan Martin v Kevin McCauley, Danny Bharj v Harvey Hemsley.
