Swindon boxer Danny Bharj returns to the ring in September and Your Sport Swindon caught up with him ahead of his next fight.
The 26-year-old will face seasoned campaigner Matt Seawright at Gloucester’s GL1 Leisure Centre on Saturday, September 12th.
And Bharj is relishing a return to the ring, eight months after making his professional debut.
The lightweight was scheduled to fight Seawright back in June only for the Swindon show to be cancelled at the last minute.
But Bharj is now delighted to be given another chance to shine against Seawright, a journeyman who rarely gives his opponents an easy night’s work.
With regular trainer Islan Eltuyev out of the country, Bharj will be trained by fellow Horseshoe Gym trainer Rich Farnan.
Bharj’s fight will take place on the undercard to the British Challenge lightweight title fight between Chris Adaway and Andy Harris.
The Keith Mayo managed boxer will now look to stay busy and already has another fight booked in for October when he will fight in Swindon.
