Begley wins Leo “The Hat” Memorial

Darren Begley has clinched his fourth Leo “The Hat” Memorial tournament in nine years.

Forty-eight people contested the ninth tournament which remembers the late Swindon pool king Leo “The Hat” McMackin, who sadly died in 2006.

Begley was already the most successful player in the event, having won the three times and he produced the goods once again to reach yet another final.
Luke Stoneham joined Begley in the final at the 147 Snooker Club but proved no match for his rival as Begley triumphed 6-2.
