Swindon boxer Kelvin Young has revealed he almost quit the sport after his recent loss to Leon Mckenzie but he has instead decided to return to the ring and fight on the road.

His next fight since January’s 43-second defeat against McKenzie, will be against Chris Hobbs on March 13th for a Challenge title and at light heavyweight.

Young told Your Sport Swindon how he has lost the hunger for the sport and just wants to go on the road to earn as much money from the sport as possible.

Young also revealed that a third fight against Sam Couzens is still very much on the cards and could happen at the end of the year and possibly be a retirement fight for both boxers.
