Swindon boxer Kelvin Young’s dream of a shot at the English title was left in tatters after Leon McKenzie knocked him out in just 43 seconds.
The much anticipated super middleweight clash was the last fight of the night at London’s Copper Box arena but unfortunately for Young it didn’t last long.
First McKenzie caught Young with a big right hand which shook him and sent him onto the ropes.
The former Norwich footballer turned boxer then followed that up with a big left which left Young on the canvas.
Looking dazed, Young failed to beat the count much to the amazement of the boxer himself and his corner.
