Martin ready to fight Swindon rival Kelly

Swindon welterweight Ryan Martin has told Your Sport Swindon that he is prepared to fight local rival Garvey Kelly this summer.

Despite Kelly suffering a shock defeat against Lee Connelly in December, the boxer and his trainer Paddy Fitzpatrick still want to take on unbeaten Martin.

Speaking exclusively to Your Sport Swindon, Martin revealed that he will fight Kelly in June providing the Fitzpatrick’s boxer does not suffer another defeat.

Martin now boasts a perfect six-fight record while Kelly has also fought six times but suffered two defeats in the process.

Both boxers will be in action again in Swindon on Saturday, March 12th at Swindon Oasis Leisure Centre.
